Deluxe Room

Uses a lot of Buddhist Elements
The new Deluxe rooms built in 2011 have a very Zen like feel to them. The room conceptualized by the owner’s son Mr. Rahul Sakya, uses a lot of Buddhist elements. Such as the “Ashtamangala” or the eight auspicious signs that hang above the bed. In Buddhism, the eight symbols represent good fortune and offerings made by the Gods to Shakyamuni Buddha immediately after he gained enlightenment.

Furniture in the rooms are handcrafted and designed by Kin Kraft by Mr. Kiran Man Sherchan- a well known Nepali furniture designer. The hotel has tried it’s best to use locally produced artifacts and products to support the local community. The hotel also tries its best to make sure that all aspects of the hotel including room features are Eco-friendly.
