Things to do around the Hotel
Changu Narayan Temple
One of the oldest temples in Nepal, Changu Narayan is situated within half an hour drive from Club Himalaya Nagarkot. Situated on a small hillock, the temple of Changu Narayan is decorated with magnificent arts works in metal and wood. In fact it is one of the finest examples of Nepalese architecture and is enlisted in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. The beautiful and historic temple of Changu Narayan is about 6 km north of Bhaktapur.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
One of the world heritage sites in the country which reflects the city’s rich culture, art and architectural design, it is also the central setting of the city for architectural monuments and arts. The golden gate is the entrance to the main courtyard of the Palace of 55 windows; the gate is regarded as the world’s most beautiful and richly carved specimens of its kind. Bhaktapur is just an hr drive from Nagarkot.

Mahadev Pokhari
Situated on the south of Club Himalaya Nagarkot, Mahadev Pokhari is a religious spot where visitors congregate and take a holy dip before entering into the temple to worship Lord Shiva. According to the Samundra Manthan, Lord Mahadev was very thirsty after consuming poison and while drinking water released the water to pond thus named after as Mahadev Pokhari.

Kathmandu- only an hours drive away
The hotel initially offered a quick escape to guests from the chaos of Kathmandu. However, over the years, many have realized that Nagarkot is the “Shangri-La” many expect Nepal to be and as of today guests opt to stay in Nagarkot and commute to Kathmandu for sightseeing instead.
