Nagarkot is very windy throughout the year, so always bring a wind cheater, a cap, glove, cold cream or lip guard, sunglasses and light walking shoes. Don't forget your binocular & camera to catch the view. Avoid loose flying skirts and sarees unless you want a Marilyne Monroe experience!

Nagarkot is 32 kilometers East of Kathmandu. From the Tribhuvan International Airport, guests can easily hire a taxi. It costs around 3500 Nepali rupees ( this is an approximate figure and subject to change) one-way. If you are already in Kathmandu or elsewhere, your hotel can easily arrange a private car or taxi.
